The Baik Children's Home began its functions in 1995 The Catholic Church was alarmed by the countless children abandoned to their fate, with no possibilities of education, health and without having the opportunity to grow and integrate. socially, he does his bit by creating the Baik Home. It was founded in July 1995 by Monsignor Román Arrieta Villalobos, in the city of Cartago, district of Guadalupe.

This Home seeks to contribute to other State institutions in the rescue of those children abandoned by their natural parents, whether through irresponsibility or other causes, who may find in the Church a loving mother who offers them an opportunity to develop integrally as human beings.

The primary purpose of the Home is to provide comprehensive care to all children from 0 to 8 years who are at social risk and merit urgent support and safety to lead a dignified life, allowing them to develop properly. Children in the institution can stay there until they are 10 years old.


This integral formation is given in four dimensions:

  • Nutritional Dimension.
  • Spiritual Dimension.
  • Educational Dimension.
  • Psycho-affective Dimension.

And at the Baik Children's Home in Honduras, 50 boys and girls receive this comprehensive training from Monday to Friday.
